SILENCE IS GOLD

I don't get people. I have so many people around me who hates Singapore and yes I get it, we are a relatively closed society and there's too many restrictions and almost no freedom. But if you don't like Singapore, get out? If you say you're not of age, fine. But stop whining. Your whining is not going to change anything. Your insults of the government won't change anything. The fact is that our country is on the top of the economics society and is doing goddamn well and is actually wealthy.

We have amazing food and our shopping experience is pretty damn top notch. We complain about the prices but the fact is that Singaporeans are earning. We can actually afford these things.

*throws in statistics*

There are 21 billionaires in Singapore.
There are 442 billionaires in America.

We sound measly but are we actually?

America is 13,840 times larger than Singapore.

If America was Singapore, they would only have 0.032 billionaires!

And Singapore is wealthy while America is actually in debt. Not to insult America or anything, just trying to prove a point. I like America.

Singapore is an amazing country albeit the close mindedness, restrictions, COE and taxes.

Personally, I have times that I want to get out of the country badly and I would even say, quite often. In 2013, I left the country 3 times and that's pretty substantial. I spent 1.5/12 of the months not being in Singapore. But my point is that, I'll ultimately come back, because this is still home and it's a safe place.

If you don't like it, get out.

Me writing so much doesn't really matter because no one really reads this space but boy I am sick and tired of people whining.

I watched the video about the girl who said that's she's not proud to be Singaporean. I do agree with everything she says, but is there really a need to whine? If you don't like the country, seriously get out. The country would not fall apart just because one person leaves.

People these days need to learn to keep things to themselves.
